About Membership
Membership in any occult society is a combination of a lot of work and dedication, but it is also a wonderful journey of self discovery. It is not something that you should take lightly or on a whim. The MOGD is no exception. When you take the magical Obligation of Initiation you make promises to yourself, to the Order and to the Higher Beings that are in attendance. These include a commitment to keep secret the workings and membership of the Order, to work hard and learn the teachings provided, and to see the journey of spiritual awakening through to its completion. Because it is a magical Obligation, there are also consequences if you break it. Some of these are self imposed while others may come from the Order itself or from the Higher Forces associated with the Order. Because of this you should give a great deal of thought and consideration to joining any magical organization.

If you choose to move forward with joining the MOGD you will need to submit an application. It must be filled out and returned to the Chancellarious of the Order. You will be contacted by members of the Order and interviewed to make sure that the MOGD is a good fit for you, and that you are a good fit for us. Membership is not guaranteed by submitting an application. If you are approved you will be contacted with further instructions and information on setting up your initiation to the Order. At this time, there are no membership fees or dues to join the MOGD.
